7th February, 2008. That my friends is the first day of the Chinese calender. Ironically this year will be the year of the rats. Rats are dirty, disgusting and they eat rubbish.

Looking at what is going on in the world markets (not very prospective), I will have to say that this year is really gonna be the RAT's year.

But the Chinese believe in mystical animals. So maybe this might be the golden rat. That would mean prosperity and all things good for everyone. Maybe this is true, looking at how many countries (USA, Malaysia, etc) who are going to have an election this year. So maybe the winds of change is coming.

Then, as with rats, dirty and all, you would never know.

Well guys, whatever comes I will take this opportunity to wish you "GONG XI FA CHAI" have a good fantastic year of the Rat!!!

What is the Mahamudra? Well it is a state of achievement in Buddhism where one is very close to attainment of Buddha-hood. Here I came across Lama Ole Nydahl giving this excellent explanation of the concept and meaning of Mahamudra. Lama Ole Nydahl is from the Karma Kagyu School of Tibetan Buddhism. Craig's List

Was a bit bored today so I decided to browse around in Craig's List (Craig's List is sort of the classified adds of the internet). It is something I've not done for sometime now. You see on Craig's List you can find all sorts of interesting stuff going on. They have a site on close to every major city and country in this planet!

Ha! So being Malaysian I decided to go to the Malaysian page to see what is going on there. the first thing that caught my eyes is there is a classified add section for people (woman seeking woman, woman seeking men, etc.). Now I was damm curious to see what type of Malaysian would be seeking a man. Yes, always curious about what is available, that is me. So here is the link of what I found.

I have to say, not much of a choice huh(looking at the photos)(I do not mean any insult to the fairer sex and yes I know we are all not born equal)? This cannot be what Malaysia has to offer told myself. So I proceeded to click on another post. This one reads, "Its a must Read!-25(KL/PJ)".

To quote part of it

Reading the post, I cannot imagine any guy fitting those requirements (there are but I don't think the available ones will be looking through here, he would have lots of options)!

Maybe that is Malaysia, the boleh land. What about Singapore, huh? Let us go check it out, here. Again the same category just to be fair, and you can see the big difference here. Now this girl is ok looking and well I will have to say quite pretty(that is if she's the one I think from the pictures). Now again down south better boleh land (if this was a contest).

Not really expecting much here cause you know how bad the english of the Japanese people are. Here is one ok looking Japanese girl. I can't seem to tell if she has a good body or not but she has a nice smile. But then look here, a cun looking white girl who only dates asian man! Bet she is only after rich Jap guy. Reasons To Start a Blog

There are so many reasons why people start a Blog but what should be the most fundamental reason to start one? There are so many motivations for starting one. A lot of you will most likely start one in order to try to earn some cash. But I will have to say that if there is no motivation besides making money then you will very likely find maintaining a Blog very tedious and boring. In fact after 3-6months or so, you will lose interest.

Look I'm no expert like Yaro Starak or some blogging pro but I'm telling you from the standpoint of a normal rational person. If you do a blog search and just browse around randomly, you will find that those Blogs that fill up their space with ads and after a very motivated start, seems to lose steam after the initial stage because their Blogs are not getting the desired no of visitors. In the blogging industry, low unique visitors=low income. So then these bloggers will start visiting and joining sites like Blog Mastermind.

I'm very sure that all the tips and pointers that you get from these Gurus can and will improve the traffic to your Blog. But what about content? You see, if you started a Blog, without the correct motivation, you will lose steam and start copying articles from other Blogs because the passion for it just was not there. I did this too, why? Well, because when you lose interest and motivation to Blog, it just isn't a very interesting (even if its just a few minutes everyday posting a short article).

Now, Blogs maintained by people who started with good motivation will never run into such problems. These people may or may not be in the business of blogging (Blogging for money)but you can see that their content is so much better.

You can tell the passion and interest of the owner just by visiting those Blogs and reading/looking at its contents. Look at the Blogs below for an example.

1. regressless- This Blog I like because you will see that the writers is using their Blog as a way to express their opinions. The articles are both interesting and well research. I give them an a for effort and well I just like it. Blogs should be a way to express our emotions and views. This is important because media is getting more and more restricted. I especially like the post called "Jesus was a Budhist Jew, Paul Founded Christianity".

2. edaeliftibet- A picture is worth a thousand words. So a Blog with pictures is worth even more. The author of this Blog is a great photographer. In this Blog you will see some very interesting and fascinating pictures of India. India is a photographers paradise with its many celebrations, great scenery, interesting places both historical and modern, and people. From the pictures, you can see that the author is not a novice photographer. Can you see the passion in this Blog?

3. tokaido- This very interestingly neat Blog is by Kurt Bell (aka softypapa). Kurt's purpose for maintaining this Blog is so that it will become an archive for his online eBay store. If you scroll through his Blog, you will find some very interesting items along with its english definitions/explanations. For most of us who don't speak or read Japaneses, this is a very informative Blog. I will bet you that this blogger will never run out of topics to write on. Great use a Blog don't you think?

The three samples above are fine examples that show not only different motivations for starting a Blog but they are fine examples of Blogs with passion and serves a real function. You see, these bloggers are blogging with real passion.

In this post alone are links to different Blogs that are all very interesting. Just click on the word "Blog" in this page and you will be taken to many different types of Blogs. I did not want to do a list describing all of them. This way at least there is some sense of adventure. So click on some of them and see if you like them.

Good Catch Or What?

I was reading some of my rss feed today and come upon this story. It seems that a group of Russians caught some prehistoric fish in their work site.

Prehistoric fish!! What is going wrong in this planet of ours? I somehow don't believe that it was undiscovered cause this location was inland and not in the open sea. How the fuck did this thing survive for so long? Maybe it was a colony of them. But in school we were taught that evolution would have made them evolved by now, no?

The fish seems dead initially but in the last picture you clearly see movement.

Now all I have to do is to wait for them to find T-Rex. I would love to have one as a pet(had this dream since childhood).

Nothing Interesting In Sandland

Mother Fucking Waste of Time

Well to all those who has been following my blog, you might notice that it has been awhile since my last post. Well a few things has been keeping busy. Allow me to fill you in.

1. I have been busy touching up some photos so this one guy who wants to do an exhibition in a museum. At first I agreed cause I thought it was like 10-20 photos only. Well guess what! I was wrong. Total was 187 photos. It was more but a few of them was like unusable. Now, if it was photos of things I'm interested in then it may be not so boring, unfortunately.... it was for stone age tools and stuff like that. Well it was boring as hell. Further more my date line was suddenly shorten. Talk about stress. People don't seem to understand that artistic work cannot be rush! Well I have to say that on the last few pictures I took a few short-cuts. Hope fully they will not notice it.

The items are of Arabic heritage, and mostly dates back to pre-Islam era. One of the items that I found interesting was a stone object that was call the Idol. This was the object of worship from the time before Islam. I can never imagine how it looks like till now. Below I've included the Idol and a few other pictures that I found interesting.

Places I Want to Visit In This Lifetime Part 1

This planet that we call home has many wonderful and beautiful places, too numerous to list them all. So if you had the chance to visit just a few where would you want to go For me as a Buddhist I would say that these would have to be the top of my list.

1. Bodh Gaya- The place where Buddha Shakyamuni attained enlightenment. It is also known as the Vijra Seat and the spiritual center of the world. The main temple is well over 2500 years old. Seeing this place would be of great significance to anybody. Imagine the history that this place would contain.

2. Lumbini Park- This is the park where Siddhartha Gautama was born. It is situated in Nepal. This is where our Buddha was born.

3. Swayambhunath Stupa located in Kathmandu Nepal. This Stupa is one of the most holiest sites in Nepal and for Buddhist as far back as the 5th century. For some reason I can't stop thinking of this place after since seeing a picture of it.

4. Rumtek Monastery- Located in Sikkim,India. This is important for me because I follow the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism and Rumtek is the current seat for the Kagyu order and also the Black Hat Lama. Ah the thought of just meditating there and chanting some mantras in Rumtek is just enchanting.

5. Benares or Modern Vanarasi- Lord Buddha in his lifetime visited this holy city which lies along the river Ganges many times. Till today this city is still a great city surviving since before the times of Lord Buddha.

300 The Game And More+

Just bought this. It will be a long weekend and I was inspired by the movie. I will play it through this weekend and tell you more about it. By the way did you watch the movie? The story is kinda of ok but the action and graphics was fantastic. It was like watching The Matrix all over again, but don't let me bore you.

A friend of mine who goes by the nick of Vodka, just told me of his new hobby, photography. Well this all started from last year when he bought his Nikon digital SLR. Then he setup his workspace with a MAC for photo editing. Some of the projects that he has been working on are pictures of his amature models (or are they his girlfriends, I wonder), his yearly travels and some sporting events.

Hell, I do think this hobby is quite a good way to get laid don't you. Imagine, walking down the street and see this cun chick. Get business card ready and present yourself as a professional photographer. Tell her she has the potential to be a model (most girls dig this) and you only need a few photos of her so that you can do a portfolio for her. Make appointment. Now on the said appointment day you have a few hours to work your magic on her. If your presentation is good enought, one thing will lead to another then who knows, it might just be your lucky day. I mean some of the girls that my friend Vodka shot on are seriously potential mating mates. Just look at the photos.

I do have to admit that his photos do look quite professional. Most of them are quite clear and the color balance is good. Only thing is that the exposure on some of the photos are a bit too much. Then some are of studio quality.

If you are planing to pursue this hobby please do remember you have to touch up your photos before publishing. It is nearly impossible to capture a perfect photo. What you want to do is to get you photos as close to perfect as possible and then do as little touch up as possible and you will have nice photos. You can use any software to do your touch up, here's a free open source image editing software that has the same capabilities as Photoshop, called GIMP.

Yes this hobby seems fun, lots of excuses to go traveling to many exotic places in the name of photography. Do not forget that it is also a great way to pick up gals/guys. Photos are also express as an art form where exhibitions are also common and very popular. Some nice collections can be found at PicasaWeb and also Flickr.

So if I did inspire some of you on this hobby do add some comments and if you do have some photos to share do include your Picasa or Flickr links in your comments.

A Parallel Universe Discovered

The link below says that scientists in Oxford University have discovered/proved that there is a parallel universe to the one we live in. It goes on to explain the way this universe would function. Go below to the link to read more, but the reason that I chose to blog this is to further discuss this issue.

Now, currently this is just a mathematical discovery but when a way has been discovered to exploit this science the possibilities are endless. As mention in the article, events happens with all scenarios all at once (talk about having options). So does this open up the possibility of time travel? I would say so. Or at least a way to change our future. WOW! Imagine doing something stupid then having the option to redo that action. Screw your boss then just go back and literally take it all back. Well it would be fun. After a good screw, do it all again! Do something then rewind and do it all again or in another way.

In my opinion, if this discovery's true value would be, the ability to see the future. The consequence of our actions today. This would be of great value for all human kind. It just might keep us from putting ourself on the endangered species.

Well, as and when this discovery can be put to good use, I'm sure it would be a great scientific breakthrough. Care to wager with me?

Peek into The future

This is a trailer of a short movie by Michael Sullivan called "Sex Life of Robots". It shows a time in the future where there is no visible signs of human presence. Only a world filled with robots. Of course like the title suggest it shows the robots humping.

God I do wish this is not the future of mankind. I wonder who did the programing for the robots, you could see them playing with sex toys and even one fucking a robot horse/dog. Sick bastard!!!

The Next Big Thing

Currently with the limited supply of fossil fuel left on this planet, we are all looking for a new fuel to replace fossil fuel. I guess we all have heard of renewable or green fuel. Now this mostly means processed vegetable oil like bio-diesel or hydro power, wind power and the latest wave power. The later is mostly used to generate electric power.

Yes, this technologies are being develop but they are still not very viable or the technique is still not perfected yet. That is why we are all still very dependent on mineral oil for most of our energy needs. So when oil hits USD75pb it really hurts us where it hurts the most. Petrol goes up, food prices goes up, well basically our cost of living goes up dramatically.

Now, wouldn't it be nice if some body invented a way to use water as fuel. Power cost would be cut by more than half and let us not forget that it would be the greenest fuel available. Also we would not have to contribute towards the sand nigger's pockets anymore!

So guess what? Someone has already accidental discovered a way to do just that. Ok, maybe not clean water but sea water. Well even better cause we would not have to process that and 2/3 of this planet is covered with it. Hard to believe isn't it?

Well John Kanzius, of Washington County did just that. He found a way to burn sea water using radio frequencies. And burn did the water burn. It continued to burn as long as it was expose to the radio waves. Yeah!

So now, he is requesting for funds from the U.S. Department of Energy and Department of Defense officials in Washington for further research.

Well let us hope this discovery will become commercially launch in the next few years. Cause the amount of money we all spent on energy could be better used. So if this is viable then it would surely be the next big thing if not the biggest think since the invention of the wheel! Now who wants to put a wager on this with me, huh?

I know most of you have Google Earth installed on your computers, but did you know that it contains a hidden game in it. All you have to do is to press ctrl+alt+a. If it does not work then please do reinstall and allow Google to collect information about your usage.

You are actually flying on the Google Earth map, which makes it so cool. With this you can try to fly round the world. Don't fly too high for then you will lose much of the details.

The only complains that I have is that it is damm hard to maintain it flying level.

Jesus:: God works his wonders in mysterious ways.
Socrates:: It would seem that you have many gods just as we do in Athens, only you don't call them gods.
Jesus:: No! God is all powerful.
Socrates:: Then the only difference is the degree of power?
Jesus:: No. God is better and more virtuous than they. Sin is impossible for him.
Socrates:: What is sin?
Jesus:: It is an act of disobedience to God.
Socrates:: I see from this that God could not sin, because he could not be disobedient to himself. But since sin is impossible for him, it is no more a mark of achievement for him to be free of sin than it is a mark of achievement for a rock to be unable to move. It's merely a matter of definition. What do they do, these angles?
Jesus:: They do errands for God.
Socrates:: Why if God is all powerful, does he need others to do errands for him?
Jesus:: He likes it that way.
Socrates:: They are his slaves, then?
Jesus:: No, they serve him willingly.
Socrates:: What happens if they don't serve him willingly?
Jesus:: There were several angels led by Satan, the devil, who rebelled against God and were cast out of heaven to eternal torment and punishment.
Socrates:: What is heaven?
Jesus:: It is a wonderful place high in the sky. The streets are paved with gold. Everything is peaceful and beautiful there. God lives there and all who believe in God go there when they die. Men have eternal life there and are given wings and worship God and play harps in eternal bliss and happiness forever. It is the purpose and goal of all of man's life to go to heaven when he dies.
Socrates:: This sounds much like the accounts I have heard given by those who have eaten the lotus flower. If this was the purpose of life, could we not simply become intoxicated on wine or drugs and feel this way all the time, like the beggars and drunks we see on the other side of the city?
Jesus:: The Bible says thou shalt not partake of wine or strong drink.
Socrates:: If is the sole purpose of man's life to get to heaven, why does he not simply kill himself and go there?
Jesus:: Thou shalt no kill.
Socrates:: If God wanted man to go to heaven, why did he put man on earth in the first place? Why did he not simply put man in heaven from the beginning? I find it hard to believe that man with all his capabilities, desires, and complexities was created merely to sit and bow and scrape and worship. Certainly there is not, nor ever was, a human tyrant so vain and proud that he wanted his subjects merely to bow and scrape obsequiously and subserviently before him from dawn to dusk, let alone for all eternity. I certainly can understand why Satan wanted to rebel against such a static, regimented, oppressive, boring society. From what you have told me so far, I would have had to side with Satan in the rebellion, for although I consider myself a humble man as men go, I could not bow and scrape and sing praises all day to a being who threatened me with punishment and eternal torment if I did not.
Jesus:: The Lord thy God is a jealous god and thou shalt have no other gods before him.
Socrates:: Why did Satan rebel? Did he know that God was as powerful as you describe him to be and that he was certain to be defeated?
Jesus:: Satan rebelled because he was proud and wanted to rule heaven himself. He knew partly of God's great power (that it was greater than his own), but he wanted power so badly that he was willing to take any chance.
Socrates:: Satan was certainly very brave, then; to strive against a foe he could not defeat.
Jesus:: He was sinful because he was disobedient to the will of God.
Socrates:: It seems to me that the only difference between Satan and God is the degree of power.
Jesus:: God is perfect. He is all powerful, all knowing, and without sin.
Socrates:: Of course; by definition he is without sin because he could not be disobedient to himself. The only real difference between the two is the degree of power. Therefore, Satan was not wrong or sinful to rebel against God, he was only wrong to lose the rebellion. For if he had won, God would be the sinner: because God would have been disobedient to Satan who would be better than God or the other angels because he could not sin against himself, that is, be disobedient to himself, and he would have proven himself all powerful. If Satan had won, he would have become God, by your definition because he would have been all powerful and without sin. Who knows but that this didn't happen? From your description of God, I begin to suspect at this point that it did.
Jesus:: God is more than mere power and righteous lack of sin: he is infinite justice, mercy, peace and compassion, and all forgiving. Satan is vicious, selfish, destructive, and evil.
Socrates:: What happened to Satan after he was thrown out of heaven?
Jesus:: He was thrown into Hell by God where he was tormented and tortured for all eternity.
Socrates:: What is Hell and why did Satan stay there if it is so painful and unpleasant?
Jesus:: God locked him in Hell and he was not permitted to leave. God created Hell as a place to punish Satan and all men who do not have faith in God. It is an eternal burning inferno or torture, agony, and torment: all sinful men who do not ask God for forgiveness and have no faith in him go there for all eternity to be tortured by the devil.
Socrates:: If God is just or merciful, how can he do this to an enemy who fought him in battle. Why did God not simply pardon Satan after defeat as men often do to a captured nation after they defeat it? Mankind would seem in victory to be more merciful than God; for they do not treat the vanquished to such terrible torments for even a lifetime, let alone for all eternity. Why did God not show the qualities that you described as his justice, mercy, compassion, and forgiveness to Satan? Certainly God's warlike nature is in marked contrast with your definition of the term God as being peaceful, merciful and all forgiving.
Jesus:: God works in mysterious ways, his wonders to perform.
Socrates:: If Satan is locked in Hell, how can he bring plagues and torments on mankind and why does God allow it if he is all powerful and all good? If God is all powerful, how is it that he permits this evil Satan to survive? Why does he not destroy him? Although I begin to wonder, at this point, if the opposite course would not be better.
Jesus:: God allows Satan to be free to bring plagues and torments on mankind in order to punish man for his sin in the Garden of Eden.
Socrates:: What is the Garden of Eden?
Jesus:: When God created the first man and woman, Adam and Eve, he put them in the Garden of Eden. When they were created, they were pure and without sin. That is how God created them. The Garden of Eden was a beautiful paradise, and it provided Adam and Eve with everything they needed. They did no have to work but merely pluck the fruit from the branches from lush trees. They were as innocent and untroubled as children and knew nothing about carnal fleshly love. They had each other for companions and adored and worshiped God who visited them once in a while.
Socrates:: Why did God create mankind?
Jesus:: He was lonely.
Socrates:: Why did he not simply create additional angels who were more his equal rather than this much lower form of life, Man? Could it be that he wanted obsequious slaves that he could look down on who would fear, reverence, and worship him?
Jesus:: Since he is our creator, we owe him our worship, reverence, and obedience.
Socrates:: Is the child of a criminal duty-bound to be obedient to his father, or does he have a right and obligation to judge for himself between right and wrong? What sin, what act of disobedience, did man commit in the Garden of Eden?
Jesus:: In the center of the Garden of Eden, God put the tree of knowledge. God told Adam and Eve that they were not to eat of the fruit of that tree. Satan went to the Garden disguised as a snake and told Eve that she would gain great knowledge if she ate the fruit. Satan said that God had told them not to eat the fruit because he was afraid that if they did they would become as great as he was. Eve convinced Adam to eat the fruit. After they ate, the learned of sexual love. That was the original sin.
Socrates:: Is knowledge evil that God would want to keep it from us? Why did God want to keep us from gaining knowledge? Did he want to keep us subservient slaves groveling under his feet? It seems to me that we owe Satan thanks and worship for his help. Satan seems rather like the Titan Prometheus, who in defiance of the orders of the gods brought man the knowledge of fire. For this service to man, Prometheus like Satan was subjected to torment and torture for all eternity. Certainly human life would be worth a great deal less that it is without love, fire and knowledge.
Jesus:: But Satan was lying to Eve, because we did not become as great as God by eating the fruit. He was lying to us merely because he wanted to destroy the work of God.
Socrates:: If God is all powerful, why did he allow Satan to come to the Garden and tempt Eve? If God did not want man to eat the fruit, why did he put the tree in the Garden in the first place? If God did not want man to make sexual love, why did he equip man with the organs necessary for it? If God did not want man to commit the original sin, why did he give man a desire for knowledge, experience, adventure and carnal love?
Jesus:: God put the tree in the Garden and allowed Satan to come there because he wanted to test mankind.
Socrates:: You have said that God was all knowing; that he knows everything that happens before it happens. Certainly God already knew how man would behave in any situation.
Jesus:: God gave man free will. It was just as possible for man to be virtuous and obey God as it was for man to be sinful and disobey the word of God.
Socrates:: Did God know that man would sin?
Jesus:: He knew that man would sin but he allowed man the free will to make his own choice.
Socrates:: Could God have created man so he could not sin? Could God have created man so that he would not have sinned in this particular situation?
Jesus:: Yes, since God is all powerful he could have done that, but he did not want men to be mere puppets; he wanted men to have free will.
Socrates:: Could God have created man with two heads and three legs or any other way if he wanted to?
Jesus:: God could have created man any way he wanted to.
Socrates:: Did God create man the way he intended to? Did God intend for man to have one head, two legs and to appear exactly as he does today?
Jesus:: Of course: God is perfect and all powerful; he could not make a mistake.
Socrates:: Then God did not make a mistake, but created man exactly as he intended to in every way?
Jesus:: Yes.
Socrates:: Then you and I were created exactly as God intended us to be? And Adam and Eve were created exactly as God intended them to be?
Jesus:: Yes. It is as I have said.
Socrates:: Did everything that is part of man come from God?
Jesus:: Yes: God is the master and controller and creator of all.
Socrates:: Did the devil or any other force create any part of man?
Jesus:: No. God is sole creator of all.
Socrates:: Then, if God created man's eyes, legs and mind, he also created man's desires; all his desires, even his desire for knowledge and sex. Why did man sin?
Jesus:: He sinned because of his weaknesses and his evil nature.
Socrates:: Is man's nature a part of man, just as hands and feet are a part of man?
Jesus:: Yes. Man's nature is a part of man.
Socrates:: Who created man?
Jesus:: God.
Socrates:: Who created man's hands and feet?
Jesus:: God.

Socrates:: Who gave man two hands and two feet and created them exactly as they are today, and exactly as they were in the time of Adam and Eve?
Jesus:: God.
Socrates:: Who created man's nature?
Jesus:: God.
Socrates:: Who gave man his evil nature and weaknesses? God did, because everything that is a part of man came from God and God alone.
Jesus:: God gave man free will.
Socrates:: Who intended for men to have two hands, the devil?
Jesus:: No. God intended for man to have two hands.
Socrates:: Who intended for man to have weaknesses and an evil nature, the devil? No. God intended for man to have weaknesses and evil nature. If mankind is flawed or evil or weak, it is because God put the flaw or weakness there and intended it to be there. Let me tell you another parable. Have you ever seen the birds killing fish in the sea? Who put it into that bird to fang and kill that flying fish? Who's to doom, man, when the judge himself is dragged before the bar?
Jesus:: Man has free will. God did not force him to sin. He merely gave him the opportunity to be virtuous or sinful. Man would have been of no value to God if he had made him a mere puppet who could do nothing but good. He wanted to give man the opportunity to be good or evil according to his own merit and choice.
Socrates:: It is absurd for God to punish man after creating him. It is as though a Homer wrote an ode about a pig and then whipped and lashed the pages or cast them on an eternal unconsuming fire, because he disliked the qualities of the animal. Or that a master sculptor made a perfect statue of a pig and then lashed it for all eternity because he disliked the traits of the animal.
Jesus:: God did not create man with an evil nature that predetermined that he must sin.
Socrates:: Then who did?
Jesus:: God created man to be innocent and naturally good. God put man in a paradise, the Garden of Eden. He gave man free will and allowed Satan to come into the Garden of Eden to test mankind. God did not predetermine that man would sin.
Socrates:: But God created everything that went into this combination, situation or environment. When he created each of the elements or ingredients in the situation, he knew exactly how each would react with the others in any circumstance; because he was all knowing. He intended for each element to be exactly as it was because he was all-powerful and could not make a mistake. It is as though a scientist or a physician combined several ingredients into a medicine, which although harmless in themselves, when combined become a deadly poison; and then after administering it to a patient, disavowed any responsibility for his death. In just this way, God combined many things; an innocent man, a tree of knowledge, a beautiful garden and an angel.
Jesus:: All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Socrates:: It seems to me that you Lord God has merely created man to watch him suffer. This business of Satan, the Garden of Eden and free will is merely a facade. God merely wanted an excuse to harass, persecute, torment and oppress mankind. If an all-powerful and all-knowing being creates everything, and allows his creations to react in a certain way, he actually intended them to act in that way and is solely responsible for the results.
Jesus:: I warn you, God is not mocked. Do not talk in this way or you will be thrown into the fiery furnace where you will gnash your teeth, forever in torture and torment.
Socrates:: I thought our Olympic gods were vicious and unreasonable, but they seem veritable lambs of mercy and forbearance compared to this God of yours: who torments and tortures you for all eternity for doing what he forces you to do in the very making of you and your environment.
Jesus:: Oh, give thanks unto the Lord for he is good; For his mercy endureth forever.
Socrates:: Why, if he is a god of peace and mercy does he torment mankind and permit, even encourage and demand, bloodshed on earth; and permit, even demand Satan to tempt and torture mankind: since you said that nothing happens that he does not only know about, but will to happen? An all-powerful being who knows all and creates all, determines all, because he knows the way his creations will act.
Jesus:: God gave man free will because he did not want him to be a mere puppet. God did not want man to sin. God was very disappointed when man sinned.
Socrates:: God could not possibly be disappointed because he knew the nature of man and all else that he created. Since he is all powerful, he intended man to sin. Indeed he forced man to sin by creating man with certain desires and weaknesses.
Jesus:: What you say is blasphemy. God created the world and all the plants and animals for the pleasure of man. Look at the beautiful world around you. How can you say such terrible things about God after he has given so much to you?
Socrates:: I certainly couldn't believe this. How could a god who was so vicious, sadistic and hateful create a world with so much beauty? Even man with as much evil as there seems at times to be in him, still at other times exhibits incredible strength, self sacrifice and loyalty, and degrees of the conflicting qualities of mercy and justice. Your Lord God has none of these qualities. Certainly there never was a man however vile who could do to another man what you claim God does to those who do not respect him: torture them for all eternity. Any man, no matter how foully he has been mangled, tortured or murdered--like Priam whose whole clan was slain or Agamemnon who was murdered by his wife and her lover--would eventually relent after years or centuries of torturing his foe.
Jesus:: I am the way, the truth and the light. None come to the Father except by me. Believe in me and have eternal life in heaven; deny me and suffer eternal torture in Hell.
Socrates:: If I did accept your system, I would have to side with Satan against your God; even knowing that I would be tormented and tortured forever. The injustice and viciousness of your God is so appalling. I have heard terrible accounts of human sacrifices by savages on distant coasts; but certainly, even they never thought of torturing their victims for all eternity. I have heard frightening accounts of terrible monsters, Cyclops, gorgons and medusas, but these monsters are as tame and gentle as lambs, compared to those described in your book of Revelation. And you tell me of Lord God's peaceful, merciful and all-forgiving nature.
Jesus:: We are all the children of God. God is our father and does not want us to sin but must punish us when we do. He is just and merciful and only sends us, his children, to Hell, damnation and eternal torment when it is our own fault. When we sin and lust after sex like Adam and Eve, he has no choice but to punish us, by torturing us in eternal fire forever.
Socrates:: You say we are all the children of God. He is a veritable monster to harass his own children for having the eyes, legs and desires that he gave them. Be these juggling fiends no more believed, that palter with us in a double sense and keep the word of promise to our ear but to break it to our hope. I see not purpose, nor reason, nor truth, nor mercy, nor justice; naught but capricious naked power. Indeed, human beings, for all their caprice, selfishness and weaknesses, seem to have more of these qualities than your God. Your God is a demonic, sadistic, psychotic fiend.
Jesus:: We are merely human and cannot understand the infinite mysteries of God. It is our duty to be faithful and believe and follow him. It is not ours to reason why but to do and die.
Socrates:: Not reason? But why were we given minds? How are we to determine how to live and what is the purpose of life? What are we doing discussing this now? Why have you been preaching to people all of your life? Why have you risked your life in defiance of the orders of the Romans?
Jesus:: By faith are we saved, lest any man should boast.
Socrates:: Faith. What do you mean by faith?
Jesus:: We must believe without asking for proof. We must not be doubting Thomases. If we believe in God, we will be paid back for all our trials and tribulations a thousandfold when we get to heaven.
Socrates:: You say we should believe whatever we are told, without investigating it or examining it; we should be gullible? If I did this, I should give my purse to every man on the street who promised to return it to me a thousandfold. I would be a fool to do as you say. And here you are not asking me to give mere money, but to dedicate the whole of my life to one undertaking and one purpose without ever considering the value of the undertaking. A thief demands my money by threatening my life. You demand my life by threatening me with torture and promising me paradise. I am not a meek and gullible fool to be led whither I am told by empty promises and threats.
Jesus:: The meek shall inherit the earth.
Socrates:: The meek are slaughtered and made slaves like the women and children of a defeated nation.
Jesus:: You must not question God!
Socrates:: I have never met this gentleman, and therefore can not question him. I am questioning you who claim to represent him, to determine whether or not you really do.
Jesus:: We must believe the Bible, the Scripture, the Word of God; by faith without expecting to be able to understand and without asking for proof.
Socrates:: It is impossible for a man to not choose. You are aware that there are several thousand religions in the world? If we believe by faith, we would have to accept them all; yet they are all different, and that would be impossible. It would be like believing that the world was round and flat at the same time. Certainly, you don't practice what you preach; for then you would have believed that the Jewish religion and the Old Testament were right and not started this new heretical religion of your own. Or yesterday when Athena's priests admonished you in the street to stop preaching your heresy; you would have believed in the Greek religion of the Olympic Gods because it was first and you should believe it by faith because they told you it was true.
Jesus:: By faith are we saved lest any man should boast.
Socrates:: Let me give you a specific example. Suppose the Oracle of Delphi told me a certain person was guilty of killing and raping my wife and that I should kill him or else he will kill me, fearing that I will discover his crime and kill him; and you tell me 'thou shalt not kill.' You tell me that I must believe by faith by whatever I am told. Following your injunction, I must kill the man because of my faith in the Oracle of Delphi and I must not kill the man because of my faith in Lord God. For I cannot both kill the man and not kill the man because they are contradictory. Therefore, I cannot believe in both the Oracle of Delphi and the Lord God. Therefore, it is impossible for me to believe anything by faith alone. There is an intellectual choice that you and I and all men make, whether it is voluntary or not, as to what we believe. What would you rather do: make choice by thinking, discussing and considering all the aspects of the problem or by blindly denying that there is any choice necessary? This choice is the most important one in a man's life because the answer to the question, "what is the purpose of life?" determines the whole course of a man's life. If a man is to direct his every move by his religion, as you advocate, then certainly, he must put a great deal of thought into his choice of religions. Let me tell you a parable: If you are to go from one city to another on some task that involves your whole life, would it not be wise to consider all the routes, whether some of them are frequented by robbers, whether there is not a closer or safer city to go to, or , indeed, whether there is any city there at all?
Jesus:: If you, honestly wish to know the truth about God, creation and the purpose of life, there is a very simple way to discover the truth. All you have to do is ask God to come into your heart. If you sincerely wish to know the truth about God, the holy spirit will come into your being and you will become one with God. At that moment, you will gain heavenly knowledge and peace; and when you die, you will go to heaven and live forever in happiness and contentment.
Socrates:: I long to know the truth. What is it exactly that I must do and say in order to gain this knowledge and wisdom? How do I address him?
Jesus:: Say, "Lord come into my heart and give me the wisdom to understand the truth."
Socrates:: You say that by merely repeating this, I will gain knowledge about the purpose of life?
Jesus:: Yes. The Lord says seek and you shall find, ask and it shall be answered, knock and it shall be opened unto thee. God has promised to show the truth to anyone who asks.
Socrates:: Lord come into my heart and give me the wisdom to understand the truth.
Jesus:: There, you see. Now thank God for giving you eternal life.
Socrates:: Nothing has happened. I know no more about the purpose of life than I did before.
Jesus:: Then you are not sincere. You did not really wish God to come into your heart and show you the truth. You did not have faith that he would come into your heart.
Socrates:: Truly I do wish to know the truth. I have dedicated my whole life to the study of philosophy and reason. I wish more than life itself to learn the purpose of life. It is an answer I have been seeking since I first saw the sun. Unless I find it, I shall still be seeking it on the day I die. Perhaps he did not hear me; shall I ask again louder?
Jesus:: You have failed to finder the answer because you do not have faith. If a man has faith the size of a mustard seed, he can move a mountain and everything that he wishes comes to pass.
Socrates:: That is impossible. Did any of the people who follow you here today ever have relatives or friends who were sick and dying? Certainly they did; and certainly if they were good Christian folk they wished that the relative or friend would not be sick or die, but rather be healthy and happy once again. Certainly no one will be so foolish as to say he never had a friend die. Certainly no one will be so callous as to say he never wished the friend to live. Therefore, it follows that no one Christian in all the centuries ever had faith in God; or else that God was lying.
Jesus:: The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord.
Socrates:: I will present a parable to prove that there was never a Christian or a Jew who had faith; and to prove that God was lying when he promised to come into a man's heart and teach him the purpose of life. First, would you agree that Hell is worse than any possible earthly misfortune?
Jesus:: Yes. Certainly.
Socrates:: And, have you not said that all men are sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God?
Jesus:: Yes.
Socrates:: All Christians or Jews, who have faith, believe that they will go to Hell if they sin. Allow me to present this parable. Each Christian is like a man who stands at the top of a cliff: he knows that if he commits a sin, he will fall to his death, or worse, to eternal torment. You have said that Hell is worse than any possible earthly misfortune. No matter how severe his earthly misfortunes or his desires, no man who was a faithful Christian, would commit a sin; that is, jump off the cliff to eternal torment. You have said that all men, including faithful Christians and Jews, are sinners. It follows that not one Christian or Jew since the beginning of time, ever really believed that he would go to hell. Because if he did believe it, he would not sin: he would not jump off the cliff if he believed that Hell and eternal torment awaited him below. All men do jump off the cliff; all men do sin. Therefore, not one in all these centuries really believed in you. It follows that God did not come into their hearts any more than he did into mine a few moments ago. Therefore God has no right to expect them to act in a Christian manner or to have faith in him. Therefore, God has no right to punish them or send them to Hell. Therefore your God is not just. Therefore your God is not God.
Jesus:: Look at the world around you. Doesn't that prove that God exists? See beautiful benevolent nature that makes you strong and healthy and provides you with the sun for warmth and the forest and field for food. Shouldn't you worship God for all that he has done for you?
Socrates:: I know that nature is all good and benevolent, but whose hailstones broke my window?
Jesus:: Simply because there is some evil in the world does not negate the good: You must thank God for that. God must exist because; where did the world come from if he did not create it?
Socrates:: It is not necessarily your God that created the world: There are thousands of other priests who claim that their God did it. Just because I do not have the answer, does not mean that I must accept yours without examining it. I could just as logically demand that you believe that Zeus created the world. Even if I agree that God created the world, that is the end of the definition of the qualities of God and we can't logically proceed from that to the assumption that the other aspects of your definition of God are correct.
Jesus:: Wait, do not leave! You must save your soul from eternal damnation. Accept God into your heart. I will not go, till you say aye to me.
Socrates:: Yes. These are only the idle thoughts of an old man. 'Tis certain you are right, since you have so many followers. And who am I, on dull-witted old man to put reason and philosophy above the voices of the multitude.
Jesus:: Thank God for giving you eternal life.

Socrates was gone.

Chicken Again

Yes, again I cooked chicken...... did this cause is both easy and fast.

Things you need

1. chicken
2. lemon
3. breadcrumbs
4. chili powder
5. eggs

How I did it

1. chop up the chicken in to small pieces and then marinate for 15min with lemon juice and salt to taste
2. pour breadcrumbs into a bowl and add some chili powder
3. beat up some eggs
4. first dip the chicken into the eggs then into the breadcrumbs then fry it till golden brown.
5. repeat part 4 till all the chicken is fried.

What did I tell you, its easy and fast.

You know what, I was looking through my own blog and I reflected back on yesterdays post. The entry about the "Sake Warmers" seems so out of place in my blog.

If you have been following this blog long enough, you will see that its has always been about me. So, what I publish yesterday is not entirely me. Maybe its hard to explain what I'm trying to say, but it seems to me, that its just out of place that article about sake warmers.

Then this started me thinking about using blogs as a medium for product introduction and to promote products through a different medium. Just how effective would this medium be in serving this purpose? Yes, there are so many fine examples out there in WWW.

Let us explore further. For one this medium is definitely cheaper than mainstream above the line advertising, but then there are so many blogs that are both reputable and that has a large public following. Which are the ones that you target as a marketer to feature your products? Or do you trust AdSense to do all the hard work for you? Many bloggers are also promoting products for free, just on the basis that it is new, top of the line or just for the bragging rights. I have to admit, I'm also one of them. Look at my PSP post, Sony did not pay me anything but here I was trying to promote it one way or the other.

Now, I know that there are services like pay per blog that pays you good money to blog about certain products. This is good. Why? Here is another avenue for bloggers to earn some money while they blog. That idea is good. But let me advise, sponsored blogs should be written in such a way that it would not seem that you are so bias towards those products that it seems fake. Try to sell something without trying to sound like it.

Maybe, instead of being paid by a singular company for what you blog, bloggers should form a consortium (grouping) of similarly themed blogs. This way the opportunity to earn more is greater than having to go through an agency. This I can see with technology related blogs and also (if I'm not wrong) cooking/recipe related blogs. Bloggers can talk to major companies and demand a certain allowance for fully featuring the companies products. This is true for blogs that already have a large following. Especially cooking blog, when a certain ingredient is is mention, it is most likely the readers would follow it to the dot.

But then maybe all this rumbling is from too much sake. Might I add that the "sake warmer" works as it should.

Anyhow if any of you have any ideas to add, please do.... Hick! Hick!

Looking for World Wide Distributors

A friend of mine just supplied me with a set of "Sake Warmers". They look nice, simple and of good quality. So, he ask me to look at how he could distribute this internationally. Me of cause decided to do a feature of this on my blog.

Firstly let us look at what sake is. Sake is an alcoholic beverage from Japan. It is mainly produce from rice and other plant juices. Sake is the traditional drink for Japan, in fact every time I drink Sake I would be thinking of Japan (mostly the Japaneses girls). Refer to Wikipedia for more info.

Sake is commonly consume warm. This method is popular in the US and Europe and most of South East Asia. This is done using a decanter on a pan of warm water. This method is good provided you have the correct equipment and also space for it can and will get quite messy.

This brings me to the "Sake Warmer" my friend is trying to supply. It provides a nice and neat way to serve your your futsū-shu or your tokutei meishōshu.

I Cooked Again!!!

Today I cooked some very basic stuff. Basically just fried chicken and some boiled vegetables. Simple yes, but not that fast. Took me 1 1/2 hrs to finish cooking these 2 items. Maybe its because I no pro or I'm just a slow cook. Look below to see how I did it.

Fried Chicken With Yellow Powder(kunyit)

Things you need:
1. half a chicken
2. yellow powder(kunyit)
3. curry powder
4. chili powder
5. salt

How You Cook It
1. cut the chicken to small pieces
2. drip dry the chicken
3. add 5 teaspoons of yellow powder(kunyit)
4. 1 1/2 teaspoons of chili powder
5. 1 teaspoon of curry powder
6. add salt to taste but i added 1/2 teaspoon of salt
7. mix it all up, make sure all the chicken is covered
8. let it sit for 15min, this is so that the flavors is absorbed in to the chicken
9. get your oil heated
10. fry the chicken till its golden brown
11. I served this on a plate with cucumbers on the side

Boiled Vegetables with Oyster Sauce

Things You Need
1. chinese lettuce
2. sesame oil
3. thick oyster sauce

How You Cook It
1. boil the lettuce leaves till half cook
2. drain and cut it up, this depends on how big/small you want it
3. put lettuce on serving plate
4. add thick oyster sauce, should be enough to mix all the lettuce evenly
5. add sesame oil, to taste
6. you can also garnish with fried small onions on top

I Cooked This

Hi! its been a long time since I posted anything, sorry. Today I will teach you how I made chicken rice. This cooking guide is more suited towards guys who cook. Why? Cause it is not as precise as those cooking recipe blogs that you can find out there. I think the way guys cook is kinda different from you ladies (no offense intended here).

Things that you need:

1. one whole chicken

2. garlic

3. ginger

4. spring onions

5. soya sauce

6. thick soya sauce

7. whole white pepper

8. suger

9. chili sauce

10. sesame oil

11. cucumber

Cooking the chicken

*you need to do this first cause from this also you will get the stock for making everything else.

1. get one cooking pot big enough to place the entire chicken (make sure it is fully submerge)

2. cut off excess fat from the chicken's rear (this is important cause you'll need the fat later to cook the rice)

3. crush the ginger (use bout 6inches of garlic, you can use more but try not to use less for this is to get rid of the chicken smell)

4. stuff the crush ginger in to the chicken

5. get 3 stalks of spring onion 6. stuff the spring onion in to the chicken also

*you now have the chicken ready.

7. now get the pot of water boiling

8. add one table spoon of whole white pepper, if you don't have that then use white pepper powder but its nicer when its uncrush

9. throw in a few stalks of spring onion

10. add whole cloves of garlic if you like (this is not a prerequisite)

11. let this all boil for like 15minites

12. turn down the flames

13. put the chicken in breast side down

14. now close the cover, make sure the chicken is fully submerge and that the water is hot but not boiling

15. leave the chicken to cook for a minimum of 30min and a maximum of 45min, this depends on the size of your bird

16. check periodically to make sure the water does not boil, this is important

17. after 30 min check to see if the chicken is cook by poking it with a fork. If its cook then it should be easy to poke through else leave it for another 5min before checking again.

18. take the chicken out and submerge in icy cold water for around 10-15min

19. now take it out and put it on a plate. Allow it to dry

Now your chicken is cook you proceed with the other items. I would cook the rice next cause it takes time to cook but its up to you which you do as long as you cook the chicken first.

Cook the rice

1. you need a wok

2. chop up a few cloves of garlic

3. wash two cup of rice till the water runs clean

4. add some vegetable oil in the wok

5. fry the chicken fat in the oil

6. if not enough oil then add some more oil

7. fry the garlic till golden brown

8. now add the rice and fry for 5 to 10 minutes till it gets transparent

9. throw it into the rice cooker

10. add two and a half cups of chicken stock (soup that you cooked the chicken in)

*the amount of water you add depends on how you like your rice, hard=less water, soft=more water

11. when the rice is cook stir and wait another 10min before you eat

Cook the "chicken rice soya sauce"

1. chop up two cloves of garlic

2. a little bit of oil in the wok when you fry the garlic to golden brown

3. add thee tablespoons of soya sauce

4. let this all boil

5. add one tablespoon of thick soya sauce

6. add five tablespoons of chicken stock

7. taste if it taste nice else add some more soya sauce if not salty or add some suger if not sweet enough

Make the chili sauce

1. get a blender

2. add one inch of ginger

3. add three cloves of garlic with the skin remove

4. add two tablespoons of chili sauce

5. depending on how thick you want the chili sauce add three tablespoons of chicken stock

6. one tablespoon of vinegar

7.blend till finely mesh

8. add fresh chili if desired

Serving the chicken

1. chop up some cucumber slices add this to the serving plate

2. chop up the chicken and put on top of cucumber

3. add "chicken rice soya sauce" try to put some on each piece of chicken

4. add two teaspoons of sesame oil

5. serve the rice

Well there we have it. The trick to getting your chicken rice tasting great is the "chicken rice soya sauce". Try to get it slightly salty with a sweet ending (that is why i mention using suger). As for the chili sauce its really depends on your taste, if you don't have vinegar the you could use lime or lemon juice.

Funny Day

Today started out fine but some events happened along the way and now I feel that this was not your usual day, kinda funny/odd.

The first was this guy that insisted that he needed my assistance in something, he has been on my back since yesterday. So being the kind of guy that I was, I made the telephone calls and etc, in preparation to assist him. Just when I have gotten everything arranged he called and told me thank you but he doesn't need help anymore. I do hope you guys out there don't meet people like that, it is very very frustrating. Can you imagine all that effort and time wasted ? I wasn't mad or anything just disappointed thats all.

Then as I was surfing the web I came across this two sites that was fantastic. Man I would love to meet the authors. The first was www.sherve.blogspot.com/ I was so excited that I quickly MSN my buddy tOpkOp. Sherve's blog is mostly about her everyday life. There are some great pictures of her and her friends hanging out eating, parting and camping. The second blog is www.estherq.multiply.com/ This blog is quite empty just some pictures but I have to say that the owner is one pretty looking lady. She has all the qualities of a model.

Later on tOpkOp introduced me to this blog called http://tips-for-new-bloggers.blogspot.com/ This site teaches you how to add lots of stuff and tricks that you could do with your blog. There is too many things to mention, but this started tOpkOp on his quest to mod his blog. Now if you compare it with yesterday you would see that it has changed a bit with some new items added to the sidebar (he also wrote something about me there, which I think is cool. If only he would just add some hyper links).

Recently I was invited by another friend to contribute in his blog about the tsunami. No there is no new tsunami but an old blog (http://tsunamipenang.blogspot.com/)which he started then was hijack (yes, talk about gangsters on the web) and he only recently just regain control of the site. Initially today it was OK but later in the night Blogger informed us that there was some technical issues and refuse to allow us to post or anything. That to me is one strange incident. Now here I am writing down all this amazingly strange yet odd but funny day. Funny because its just not everyday that you get lock out of one of your blogs.

He just started today but well I think he has some good material, just check out the two videos he included from youtube. Sorry if I haven't been posting anything this past one week, I was engage you see. Well today I've have decided to write about other people. Other peoples blog I mean. If you are like me, you most probably read lots of blogs. Some of the blogs you can find are quite interesting. Below I've done a light review of a few blogs.

1. http://dayjah.blogspot.com/ This blog is writen by this guy Mike and he is from London. He talks about lots of stuff but recently he posted a few jokes from his long lost e-mails. The one that I like the most is the one about 'Why did the chicken cross the road?'. Read it, bet you'll like it like I did.

2. http://ldcalbright.blogspot.com/ We all know what porn is right, well this blog very graphic about sex/porn. the difference is this blogger does it with words and not pictures. So this is old school porno. It is a change from the normal multimedia stuff that you can find easily on the www. Sadly the blogger does not identify himself.

3. http://choquegratis.blogspot.com/ This is a Spanish blog, I can't read Spanish but I do know what this blog is about. Downloading! Well I know that this blog falls on the gray, but hey the blogger does have a good selection of dance CDs. You will also find other stuff to download too like games and software.

4. http://palgraphicsarea.blogspot.com/ Ahh! We all love pictures don't we? Well this next blog is all about pictures. This site has some high quality photos and they are all downloadable too. To quote the author this site contains pictures of "Graphics Design * Photography * Flash * Art/Artbooks * Erotica (NOT porno/hot/vulgar!) * Photostock * Graphic news * Galleries * Paintings * Web-mastering * 3D * Backgrounds * Cliparts * Icons * Graphics stuff * Adobe Photoshop stuff * Girls * Computer graphics * Vector graphics * Wallpapers * Illustrator's stuff * Templates * Patterns"

5. http://sexcam-live.blogspot.com/ We have all heard of web-cam sex chats right? Well this next blog introduces some of the web-cam girls to us and if we like, it also contains links to the girls featured. So click on a few links and see what happens.

Wish I Was There

Traveling seems to be the one of the favorite pastimes of the human species. Maybe its due to the human nature to be curious and the love for adventure that is in all of us. I mean don't we all love something new? Some new experience? We want to travel and see for ourself other countries and enjoy the beauty and history of that country.

One of my friend just went to Cambodia, and he was very impress with the culture, people and history. As usual he came back with some very nice pictures of the places he visited.

Is the grass greener over there? Well I guess I'll have to ask him the next time.

World Yesterday Comes Tomorrow

The journey of the human race seems to revolve in circles. Look at fashion for an example, we go from tight to lose then tight fitting clothes again. Many expects of human history has always been in a loop. You can tell that after a certain period of peace there will be a period of violence. Why can't we all just progress by learning from our past and not repeating past mistakes? Is this the fallen nature of humans?

Look around you, apart from better technology, our live are only slightly better than our forefathers socially that is. True we no longer teach our children with the cane, but we still get into the same arguments with our neighbour as our fathers did then over the way some car was park or over who the apples belong to when the branches are over the other side of the fence. Same age old question about who is better, more correct, whose cause is just and whose isn't. Did we not learn anything from mistakes of the past? Or have we just forgotten all that because we now drive better cars and live in bigger houses. We now have mobile phones so we are always connected but do we know better than before?

Where is the urge to have compassion for others? To forgive our enemies because they did not know better or because they have wronged us in the past, we know very well that two wrongs don't make a right, don't we? All around us people are not letting go, they are keeping grudges, keeping scores so that when even the slightest chance to release these negative energy arises they just let it go. Look at the world today and you'll see many examples. All this and more to come, does anyone believe any good will come from all this?

We have to start forgiving and forgetting. Why because if you look at our history books you'll know that all conflicts however minor and however major never has a good outcome. Tell me one war where you can say it was just, tell me when your last disagreement with someone is justified and I'll tell you about the number of human lives lost and all the emotional suffering, that comes with it. All those feeling are never forgotten, just kept in storage waiting for time.

That is why we all have to start forgiving and forgetting also our yesterday will be our tomorrow.

Body Art is not only limited to tattooing. The second most popular body art is call body piercing. This is done by piercing metal studs, rings etc, in to ears, nose, eyebrows, nipples or even to the extend piercing ones private areas. The actual piercing must be done by someone who is a professional. Both the venue and the equipment use for the actual piercing must be sterilise/clean. Keep this in mind because the risk of disease is very great, the same goes for tattooing. Piercing is very fashionable now a days. This form decoration is less permanent because when you do not want your piercing, you just remove the stud/ring and the pierced hole will heal over time.

There is also another type of body art and its call body painting. When done well the naked human body will look like it's fully clothed. This is very popular in Europe especially during the hot summer months. This is an art form, it's about creating something beautiful to please/shock/humour the audiences. It is not so much for personal beautification like tattoos and piercings.

So whichever form of body art that fancies you go give it a try. You may shock yourself.

Body art, if it was 5 years ago, it would most probably be frown upon but lately this phenomena has become the status of being cool. It is now main stream fashion. After all the designer labels, it is the next must have item for fashion conscious people today. So let us look at what exactly is body art by today's standards.

Tattoos was and still is main form of body art that is popular. Tattoos have been incorporated into many cultures around the world. This is true from the east all the way to the west. The designs that are popular today, comes from both Western and Asian origin. From the west we have Celtic designs, Biomechanical designs and the so called Tribal designs. Designs popular from the east would be the Japanese and Chinese ones. The various types of tattoos each reflects the rich heritage of its original culture, one can see the Irish heritage in the Celtic tattoos and the dragons and samurais of the east gives us the feel of the mysterious Asians, each with its own beauty, character and meanings. Ideas for tattoo's not only originate from the above but also any type of artistic artwork available today. i.e. drawings, art pieces, photographs, etc. The modern tattoo equipments available today enables the tattoo artist to ink almost anything on skin today. You only have to pay a visit to any tattoo shop to see to see how true this is.

The size and location for a tattoo is very personal. You would find people with a small tattoo in a very private place on their body to people with full body tattoos (head to toe). This depends on the artistic taste of each individual. There is a saying that tattoos are addictive, which may well may be true because I've got numerous friends who started off with just one small tattoo and gradually this grew and grew to cover half of their upper torso. Addictive or not you'll have to decide for yourself. As for me it wasn't addictive but after enduring a few hours of pain I felt a great sense of achievement. The level of pain that one would feel depends on which part of the body the tattoo is being drawn on, also what type and size of the tattoo.

The single most important thing that you'll have to keep in mind if you want to get a tattoo irregardless of style and size is that this is a permanent art work. Sure you see lots of adverts that provide tattoo removal services, but these are both costly and would leave scars or marks too. So if you want to get a permanent marking done make it a choice that you know you'll like for a long time. Else got a temporally tattoo, one that will fade after one week or so. This is very important, too often people get a tattoo of their current sweetheart's name, a week later they are no longer together. Then they start to look for ways to remove or change the tattoo so that it no longer represents that person. Heed my advise readers.

Finally I've got to say that tattoos have been here for a long time and it will be with us for many more just as long as there are artist and people who desire beautiful permanent body art.

Sony PSP-Why mod?

I own a white Sony PSP and I can say it's a wonderfully great piece of hardware, but lately I'm been seeing lots of websites and videos on modding for the PSP. This happens on both the hardware and software level.

Why do people do this to their PSP's? I think the answer to this is lies in the human nature to customise items that belongs to them. Let me ask you, did you put a nice wallpaper on your office PC or have a screen saver of your own? Most of you would answer yes. Well we all do this because it's the computer that we use, its like marking our territory to say yes this is mine, my spot!! The same goes to modding of PSP's. Its mine and I would like to mark it, so it's uniquely my and my alone. Look around and you can see people doing this to everything from cars to mobile phones etc.

Modding is split into two categories. The first is the physical or hardware kind of modding. This basically is to make its appearances more attractive or to add functions (as shown in the video earlier).

Here are some pictures of some PSP mods.

The last two pictures from the right are for a joystick and a TV output connector.

For all these mods I think you would have to bear in mind that you would be violating the warranty from Sony because you would have to open and add wires, lights etc. But look at how cool they look in the pictures, ya! If you want to keep the warranty you should not open or change anything unless its done by Sony. Well maybe you'll want to do all this after the warranty has expired or get a pre-owned unit. The ones I like are the ones with those flashing lights, but the battery life must be very short.

Now the second type of mods are software based. This basically means that people play a with the firmware (this is the OS for the PSP), this is done so that people can run custom software or better known as 'Homebrew' applications. You can read more of this here.

Most people (this is only my opinion) do this so as they can use unlicensed copies of popular games that is easily downloaded from the internet, this has gotten so serious that there is a rumour that Sony is going to stop this by upgrading all new unsold PSP's with the latest firmware (the current is ver 3.51, which still haven't been crack). Maybe also release a new PSP model (PSP2) that offers better protection against practice. You see when you buy a new PSP from the shop, the firmware installed would likely be a few months old (this is due to Sony coming out with new firmware monthly and also the speed of stock rotation in the shops. The latest firmware would add more functions and security for your PSP).

Well I do hope all this is insightful. My advise is don't mess with your PSP too much cause from the factory, it's a cool piece of hardware.

Don't you just hate folding the laundry. Well I think this video will help a lot. I know that this is not new but hey, I'm sure there are lots of people who don't know about this way of doing it.

I own a Sony PSP and I think it is a cool gadget. The functions are great and with Sony behind this device you know that there will be good content support (most of the good PS2 titles are available for this platform and also future PS3 titles too).

Lately I've been reading that many people are modding their PSP's. This is a video of this guy modding his PSP. This mod would enable a TV output for the PSP.

Look at how complicated it is. Would you do this to your PSP? I would love to hear your views.

My Blog Creation....

Well I've finnish playing around with the settings for the blog. I didn't change many settings. I've previewed the blog and I think it looks nice, its easy on the eyes and the only thing I did change is the font colour . The original was a darker shade of grey than this. I think this is easier to read. Hope you would agree.

I added links for videos from http://www.youtube.com/ and http://www.video.google.com/ for your viewing and also news from http://www.google.com/.

Anyhow I think for a non-technical person (I don't know computer programing or html etc) to have done this is wonderful. Congrats to http://www.bloger.com/ for making it so simple to people like me.

1st Blog and Hope to Please.....

Well today, I woke up and decide that I should start a blog cause its easy and I love to read other people's blogs. I just love blogs cause its the purest way to share and learn. This is a list of what I did to create this blog:-

I googled around first to see what was the easiest way to create a blog. Well needless to say most blog forums suggested that http://www.blogger.com/ is the easiest and non-technical way to set up a blog for a beginners.
At http://www.blogger.com/ I had to log-in to my Gmail account first to register. This I did and you would find that the registration process is very easy and uncomplicated (that is provided you already have a Gmail account).
Then I was asked to name the title of my blog, followed by the desired blog address (of which I chose http://www.slimfox.blogspot.com/) .
After all that you are ask to chose from a list of blog templates that you can preview before making your choice (man, this is sure is easy. I always though there was more to it but really its that easy!)
Next you are ask to write your 1st post (which I'm doing now).
From this screen I can see you can also "adjust settings" and "edit posts" of your blog. I'll do that after I'm done writing this.

If you have any comments on the format or the colour scheme of my blog please do leave your comments cause it would be of interest to me.

Well this is my first post, sorry if it's short but I want to play with the settings and see how my blog looks like. I'll make another post later
